Who we are
NetSnap Survey is a product of Verenity LLC. In this page, “we” means Verenity LLC.
This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and does not load fonts, scripts or images from other sites. It stores one thing in your browser: your light or dark theme choice, if you make one.
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it to answer you, to provide trials and licenses, and to give support.
The NetSnap Survey program
NetSnap Survey runs on your computer. Its web page is served from your own machine (127.0.0.1) and is not reachable from other computers. It does not log in to the devices it finds and needs no credentials.
Survey results are saved on your computer, in a file encrypted with your passphrase. We cannot read that file and do not receive it. You decide whether to share exports with a client.
NetSnap Survey sends nothing to Verenity. Its only network traffic is to the hosts being scanned, to DNS servers for hostname lookups (the network's own resolvers), and to your local browser on 127.0.0.1. Licenses are tied to a machine and verify offline.
Licensing
To issue a license we need the Machine ID you send us and the email address the license should go to. We keep these to issue, reissue and support the license.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Use the contact page.
